CCE’s Michelle Uptegrove Named Finalist for Missouri Teacher of the Year

Michelle Uptegrove, the 2016 Lee’s Summit R7 Teacher of the Year, from Cedar Creek Elementary was selected as one of seven finalists for the Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education Teacher of the Year Award! On Wednesday, August 24, Cedar Creek held a school-wide assembly to surprise Mrs. Uptegrove with the news. Dr. Brent Blevins, LSR7 Acting Superintendent, was on hand to make the announcement. The CCE PTA congratulates Mrs. Uptegrove on this wonderful achievement.
